Sully is an immensely overrated movie that is as typical as it can possibly be. It is competently acted and directed, but it's traditional in a bad way as its inspirational story is familiar and overly sentimental plus this particular story is too simple and short for a feature and the result is a boring and even repetitive film that sometimes went into obvious filler territory.
