Review of Sully (2016) by Kav S — 28 Sep 2016
This film is literally the most literal film in the existence of cinema. Continuing in the vain of Eastwood's American Sniper, Sully manages to be the most self-indulgent of 2016. The dialogue reads as if it was lifted directly from the transcripts of the black box.
Eastwood's days of telling stories are best reserved to speaking to empty chairs lately. If you absolutely need to see an airplane disaster film, I recommend "Flight.".
