Review of Sully (2016) by Margomarie1 . — 29 Oct 2016
"Sully" is a well done biopic that has a fantastic leading performance from Tom Hanks and proves that an event that took 240 seconds can make a compelling feature film. I loved the flashbacks to the initial "Miracle on the Hudson.
" They turned out to be some amazing sequences that were extremely well directed by Clint Eastwood. The movie as a whole was very solid. It turned out to be a compelling hour and a half and the performances, not just by Hanks but by the entire cast, make the movie a special endeavor.
I wished the film ended in a better way, because it just felt a little abrupt. Overall, this is a well-done picture that honors the actual hero in a very nice way. If you like biopics and true stories, then you should check this one out.
