Review of Sully (2016) by William James S — 05 May 2017
This is a terrific movie, with great performances all around. However, the real stand out for me is Clint Eastwood's fantastic direction. The intensity of the reenactments of the plane going down is palpable.
Even though I don't agree with his ultra conservative political view, he's still one of the best directors going even at age of 85 plus. The only thing I have a problem with is how Sully was treated by the airline and the TSB.
He was vilified for actually saving all 155 passengers. Only in America...
