Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Ben W — 08 Sep 2008
More light comedy from sturges. I didnt like it as much as unfaithfully yours but it was still fun. and for a comedy of this style it deals with some larger issues which is rare. joel mccrea is a little flat on his acting at some moments in the film but generally does a passable job.
veronica lake is pretty good too. the comedy is pretty good overall and hits some really high notes.
