Review of Sullivan's Travels (1941) by Omar M — 16 Jun 2009
From screwball slapstick comedy to stark social commentary, this really isn't just one film, but a blending of several, all done quite well. Veronica Lake is particularly charming and Joel McCrea is enjoyable in the lead roles with lots of hilarious jokes and memorable cinematic moments.
A very influential film.
