Takashi Miike's take on Yojimbo is a pretty good ride. The film is actually quite funny at times and visually it is VERY entertaining. The action is certainly over the top, as is the norm in most of Takashi Miike's films, a gun shot is typically considered just a flesh wound.
Blood splurts out of everyone's mouth no matter the kind of injury they have. In other words, the violence in this film is hilarious. Its a good movie.
