Review of Suicide Squad (2016) by Claudiu L — 24 Jun 2017
Harley Quinn did an awesome job here, her moments are some of the single enjoyable ones, she saved the movie from being as bad as BvS. The rest is embarrassing. Will Smith's character is quite flat and not that charismatic, but it balances Margot's one from time to time.
Joker has too little air time and we have no idea what Jared Leto wanted to make except a crazy weird dude. Cara Delevigne's Enchantress sounded interesting until it turned against the world, it really wasn't a great idea to make her the "bad guy", the rest of people are too flat, too less.
The plot is as bad as all the people say, or it isn't at all even. The first half of the movie was entertaining and felt like a quality movie, but as soon as they begun their road trip to the witch things got rotten.
Ironically, the deleted scenes would have brought life to the movie, making an arc to Harley as she understands how bad she is treated by Joker and dump him, would have painted more of Joker character, also of Diablo's and Killer Croc's.
I can't love or hate the movie, because of Margot Robbies's part.
