Academy Award-winning actor Jared Leto didn't come within 40 feet of matching Heath Ledger's Joker. Can't we just retire the character for a generation? Other than that hiccup, this movie adequately achieved the bar it aimed for.
In fact, by DC Universe standards, this movie is actually pretty good. I repeat: by DC Universe standards.
