An absolute mess of a film. Terrible script, terrible acting, inconsistent tone, a completely out of place soundtrack which is just trying to gain brownie points for throwing popular songs so the viewer goes "Oh hey! I like that song!" so that they may associate the god-awful scene with the good song.
It only makes the scenes worse as the tone is all over the place and the song doesn't even come close to fitting the scene. And by some sort of otherworldly intervention, this is an Oscar-winning film.
We are truly in a dark age of cinema.
