Review of Suicide Kings (1997) by Aaron D — 24 Jul 2009
Alright, so this movie........ Yeah, not so great. I thought the plot was the opposite of cool. However, Christopher Walken is always cool so needless to say, it piqued my curiosity.
I felt that this movie was filled with bad lines and ripoff scenes from other movies. Specifically, this movie made me feel at a couple points like I was watching Clue, and Denis Leary driving around in a car talking about nonsense reminded me of less cool Pulp Fiction.
On a positive note, I thought the twists in the plot at the end were pretty neatly done. So many people try to twist and twist until there is nothing left, and the writers didn't a good job of preventing that. The last scene I think is rather dumb though.
Overall, I recommend this movie to SEAN O'CONNOR. I think he'll probably enljoy this movie, even though I can't figure out why it is called suicide kings.
