Review of Suicide Club (2001) by Ben D — 18 Sep 2007
This movie is one of those movies that are a total mess in terms of film making but is still wildly entertaining and utterly crazy to the point of being a modern cult classic. The opening scene alone is worth watching this movie for, as 54 smiling school girls leap in front of a subway, giving Shinjuku Station (and passengers on the platform) a bright red paint job.
Shot on video and written and directed by Sion Sono, this is definitely one of those movies you have to see just for the insane experience of watching it. And that's not even counting all the crazy fun songs sung by Dessert and Genesis' awesomely disturbing scene too!
