Review of Sugar (2010) by Anthony C — 16 Mar 2010
A very unexpectedly enjoyable film. It begins as a sports film, seemingly about a young athlete meant for greatness, only to discover that the film and the main character take a very unexpected turn in the 2nd half of the film, and even though it's unconventional and sad, the main character displays true happiness in the end, which makes us feel ok about it since we grow to care about him throughout the film.
