Review of Suffragette (2015) by Yifan W — 26 Sep 2016
Some say this movie doesn't deserve a high rating due to cliche storytelling, weak characters and bad cinematography blah blah blah... From what I see, YOU DON'T JUST GET A MOVIE THAT TELLS THE STORY OF THE SUFFRAGETTE MOVEMENT EVERYDAY (OR EVEN EVERY YEAR)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There are so many powerful lines and powerful scenes throughout the film that made me cry multiple times.
They are willing to lose their jobs, husbands and homes to fight for justice, to fight for the greater goods. And we deserve to know what we have today don't just come without blood and suffering.
To the suffragettes!
