The problem with 'Suddenly It's Magic' is not the story and acting (Rory Quintos handled well her Thai actors), but the lead actor himself. Mario Maurer's effect on women is so magical that it becomes destructive to the point that his on-screen partner, Erich Gonzales, suffers the wrath of women wooing too much in him.
Thus, viewers unappreciate their pairing which is supposed to be the heart of this chick flick.
