Review of Sudden Impact (1983) by Bill B — 04 Aug 2010
Aside from the line "Go Ahead, Make My Day", this sequel has got nothing over the first Dirty Harry film. I thought the premise was really good, though they could have handled the film and its climax a little bit smarter.
Clint's great as Harry, like he was in the last 3 films, and this time there's a lot of humourous elements that the character has to deal with; such as chasing a criminal on a Retirement Home bus filled with Old People.
The film is easily the most violent of the franchise, and at times I felt they went a little too far.
