Review of Sudden Impact (1983) by Shawn W — 19 Oct 2012
While it clocks in at 117 mins., this film seems much longer, perhaps due to bad casting (Locke) or a bad story. Either way, there is a lot missing from this Dirty Harry film and I consider it the worst of the series and a real mess for Eastwood in general.
The story is lackluster and the bad guys aren't particularly menacing or scary. The ending is a bit of a letdown as well, but it is nice to see Clint walking that dog throughout.
