Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Zacharymatson — 26 Mar 2011
Zack Snyder creates another masterpiece. There is no doubt that Zack is one of the best Directors out there right now, but his film's aren't for everyone, especially in the case of Sucker Punch. As I like to say, he creates action art, his film may not be outstanding when it comes to story telling, but the man knows how to Direct.
Sucker Punch is an absolute fun time, and is probably one of the most enjoyable films of the year, unless you're an uptight snobby critic who only enjoys films like 'The Kings Speech'. It has it's moments where I would think to myself, "I'm not sure if that worked" but it didn't happen enough for me to have anything bad to say about this film.
There is no reason I wont be seeing this film at least 3 more times in theaters. The acting is fantastic, the story is a bit off key, but the Directing is why I'm giving this a 10 out of 10.
