Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Bottledgenie — 31 Mar 2011
If you know what you're going to get, then you'll be happy. If you go in expecting The Bicycle Thieves, expect to be left wanting. The film is incredibly visually engaging, and the soundtrack goes well with the scenes.
The fantasy sequences do get a bit repetitive at first, but your expectations are soon subverted. The storyline seems a bit weak, even if you take the time to understand it. But I'll still give it a 7 because I really enjoyed the movie, all told.
