Review of Sucker Punch (2011) by Dr. F P — 18 Feb 2014

I liked it for how different it is, I didn't like how half of it was one long music video. I mean if the music is good perhaps I wouldn't have cared. I feel as if the title Sucker Punch isn't all that descriptive of this and from the poster I got a sense that this was a totally different movie than it actually was.

I thought perhaps it was too sexualized, I get that she went into another world, I don't get that there was a second one that was a brothel that didn't want to admit it was a brothel (obviously for a lower age rating).

Even after all of that the girl still ends up with a lobotomy and then apparently the head honcho has a fetish for molesting young vunerable lobotomy patients. WHAT THE HELL? I'm pretty sure Zack Snyder should have just made the x-rated version and got the hell over with it all.

I do not recommend teenage girls to watch this, all its saying to them is you aren't worth shit unless you dance sexy, and even then you'll end up a brainless sex object.
