Review of Suburbicon (2017) by Mark R — 29 Nov 2017
I disagree with previous critiques calling this movie a misfire. The movie does an excellent job of mirroring modern society where we act on beliefs instead of reality. It was a cinematic Symphony where the most heinous behavior rises to a crescendo (think spike lee's Do The Right Thing) after simmering for much of the movie.
Seems there is a nod to Quentin Tarantino as well. This movie is chilling, disturbing, and very well done.
