Review of Sublime (2007) by Marcus J — 30 May 2007
An okay film that sits uncomfortably between genres, fearing to commit to a single one. Examining paranoia has been done a lot better, as has the gap between reality and the mind. The performances here are okay but many films can be recommended instead.
The shots lack any form of orignality and being set in a hospital the sets and colours used are very unpleasent for the eyes. The predictable ending and the fact it is drawn out for so long had me constantly checking the time within the last half hour.
May have been better if it were shorter.
