Review of Stuck in Love (2013) by Aaron H — 03 Oct 2013
I'm not a writer, in fact I'd go far as to say that I have trouble expressing myself. So to see a movie about a film centered around a family of writers, it's pretty interesting. Of course you could say this film is so Hollywood-ified, seriously how believable is it to receive a phone call from Stepn King.
And how can we ignore the cliche of the magical effects of the Thanksgiving holiday where all is forgiven. Meh, but why take it so seriously, the characters are interesting, unlike the typical romance films.
The situations, the relationships of our diverse society, I think the plot highlights that although romance isn't like what it's used to beâ¦in the end it's the basics that touch us and connects us.
All else is just distractions provided by modern society. We still look for that heart beatâ¦at least I still do anyway. So I found this piece adorable and heart-warming. Lily Collins was great in this, stands out much more than her role in Mortal Instruments.
