Review of Stuck in Love (2013) by Jon C — 20 Jan 2014
3 separate love stories unfold and they cant help but be 'stuck in love'.
This movie is no snobby indie flick; it totally understands the reality of love, family, and relationships in a realistic perspective.
The performances are so terrific mainly from Lily Collins being so repressive of her mother by Connelly because of her parents' divorce.
This family has a big influence from writing books and carrying their personal issues into the pages.
Even a very well-known famous author shares his input on the literary word.
And the movie skips over all the same old tropes we've come to expect.
It can be happy, struggling, and downbeat when it wants to but at the right moments when we do not see it coming.
Don't we all deserve a second chance?
