Review of Stuck in Love (2013) by Keith C — 31 Jan 2014

Excellent flick. This film is an emotional roller coaster to say the least, but not too dramatic. There are enough goofy smiling enticing scenes though out but not enough to make it feel like general hospital.

This title is open to a thousand different interpretations as with any good movie but this one, has the effect a novel does on me, such as making me almost sad to see the credits start rolling. Character development was very satisfying as a viewer which led to me wanting more.

Greg Kinnear's character reminds me a lot of his father role in "The Last Song", but not enough to annoy or let my head to many comparisons. I recommend this film to the lonely soul wanting a pick me up(be warned, hang in there for some smiles; get through the depressing angles !), the hopeless romantics that finish last, and maybe even the aspiring writer who wants their next inspirational well to draw from.
