Review of Stuck! (2009) by Chris W — 05 Nov 2008
Trying to tell the story of a girl who crashes into a man and leaves him stuck in her windshield (alive no less) and make it run for 95 minutes was a rather bad move on director Stuart Gordon's part, especially considering Stuck really just feels like an overlong, extended episode of a Masters of Horror episode.
It has its moments, especially the brutality of the piece and Stephen Rea who almost always does good work, but Mena Suvari is terribly miscast and dumb, not to mention she looks like a complete idiot with cornrows in her hair.
At least it keeps Stuart Gordon working, and one step closer to returning to the Re-Animator franchise.
