Review of Stuck (2002) by Christopher P — 21 Oct 2008
Mena Suvari continues her post-American Beauty spiral towards obscurity in this strange attempt to dramatize, through humour, the real life tabloid tale of Chante Mallard. I don't know what kind of favours the director had to call in to get Stephen Rea to star in this film, but it simply wasn't enough.
The film was neither funny nor disturbing. In fact, it was downright boring. The only reason I'd watch it again would be to see Suvari topless. People who think this film is "original" need to get out more.
