Review of Stroszek (1977) by Chris C — 03 Jul 2007
One of the greatest examples of Herzog doing what he does best. It's funny, it's horrific, it's absurd, it has one of the greatest endings in film history, though it doesn't have Klaus Kinski in it. One of my very favorites films of all time.
"We have a 10-80 out here, a truck on fire, we have a man on the lift. We are unable to find the switch to turn the lift off, can't stop the dancing chickens. Send an electrician, we're standing by.".
