Stronger depicts not only the physical trauma, but also the psychological damage that is inflicted upon one of the more "famous" victims of the Boston bombing. Jake Gyllenhall is immensely impressive and delivers yet another magnificent performance to add to his already daunting filmography.
Stronger is a somber, emotional character study of how the memories of a traumatic experience can linger long after the event actually transpired.
