[b]I was 5 or 6 when I first watched this with my dad I can remember taping it ad watching it over and over I dont think I really understood it much then but laughed at it because my dad did, but as ive got older my loyalty has stayed with stripes,Im now 21 and still watch it regular I know im taking my time getting to the point but to sum this film up in one word doesnt do it justice it is without doubt my favorite film of all time and no matter what's going on it im watching stripes im laughing, I love john candy and even tho he doesnt play a major role in this just watching him in the background of scenes brings its own hilarity , this is the icon of comedy films this is the godfather of comedy it your ever thinking of writing a comedy watch this film first because every second of it is absolutly perfect and if just one person watchs stripes from this artical then im happy because I know i've given somebody else the best gift there is to give,laughter.
