Review of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) by Luke D — 14 Dec 2018

I was waiting for this for so long and how this movie exceeded my expectations. There was so many ascpectd that made this movie unique, great and simply enjoyable with some some amazing characters art style and hilarious laughs; anyway enough with that lets just get started with.

The Good:

One thing this movie did greatly was the art style it was so fresh seeing this on the big screen with some phenomenal action sequences which complimented the art style .when I was in the cinema there was some times when I was sat there in ore over the sheer brilliance of it.

Another point to make is the charecters; for me anyway the characters were phenomenally well written with all delivering big time on laughs and truest heart felt moments for example Peter B. Parker in this movie is in a completely different state as what most people are used to which I 5hought was great and we seen him go on this journey of essential recovery throughout the movie where on the other hand Spider. Ham delivered on a great comical level which I though was well timed and pleasant. However there was one character which I thought wasn't the best.

Finally how could we not talk about the protagonist and the story. For me Miles Morales is the perfect Spider-Man seeing his development on the screen as he denies the initial call to adventure and see him become the new Spider-Man and also with the story and message delivering that had never been done before that anyone can be Spider-Man which is just beautiful.

In conclusion I could be here all day talking about the good bu now I must move onto...

The Mixed:

There is only a few mixed really; for example the only character that I dint like was Pe I Parker not that that really effects the overall narrative just thought there was something missing when her robot gets destroyed but I have seen a few people who really liked her bu that's just my opinion.

Also I thought that the reveal of the Prowler was predictable for me I could kind of see it coming from a mile away but then when he died it caught me of guard and it was very mixed for me as it gave miles but I thought that there could've been so much more potential in the future. So now movin onto...

The Bad:

There's only one thing bad about this and it was the posture of king ping. He was meant to be the main villain he just looked dodgy with how big he was it didn't come of as scary it was just disturbing which is a shame because his character was on point.

Conclusion;.

There is so much more I could've talked about this movie like the villain and the family life for miles. But it was a simply enjoyable experience for all the family. Finally this is the first movie since Guardians of the Galaxy that has left me wanting more.

Final Score: 9.8.
