Review of Stripes (2005) by Tabitha W — 31 May 2009
Bill Murray is the one thing that saves this pretty average comedy. The supporting cast just seems to be along for the ride (Especially Harold Ramis, who's spends the entire movie just being entertained by Murray).
The plot is pretty silly, and doesn't really matter, nor does it make much sense in any way. But it's interesting to see so many classic comedians back when they first started out, as this was kinda like a breakthrough movie for a lot of them. However, many of them are underused and still premature to the greatness their following careers. A lot more nudity than I expected too, though I guess I should have expected that from Ivan Reitman.
