Review of Striker (2010) by Ankur S — 13 Feb 2010
Striker touches a right chord but it looses it's steam before it's end credit roll due to confused and predictable script which fails to bring culmination. There is a love tracks between Siddharth and Nicolette Bird (Rock On!! Fame) which is used for nothing and the communal riot sub-plot doesn't make any impact. However, STRIKER has some good points. Director CHANDAN ARORA extracts excellent performance from the stars SIDDHARTH, ANUP SONI, VIDYA MALVADE, SEEMA BISWAS , ADITYA PANCHOLI & ANKUR VIKAL (Slumdog Millionaire fame) who brings true sincerity in their respective roles. Also He deserves brownie points for displaying accurate portrayal of City's dark atmosphere.
Overall STRIKER is not at all a bad film, watch it for the excellent performance and it's authenticity.
