Baz Luhrmann's directorial & screenplay debut (when he was still in Australia). Simple, direct, no bullshit, no unnecessary dragging, yet inspiring & moving. The ending scene perhaps is one of the most superb & impressive Cinema ending done.
Paul Mercurio was once such hot back then.
