This is the greatest dance movie I've ever seen. That being said, this is always an absurdly funny & deeply sweet ugly duckling romcom. Being the first part of Baz Luhrman's Red Curtain trilogy (preceding Romeo & Juliet & Moulin Rouge), it's also a bold & dynamic directorial debut.
I highly recommend this hidden aussie gem.
