Perhaps I shouldn't like this movie because the characters are one dimensional, the dialogue is god awful and Diane Lane's lip synching is distracting. However, due to its dreamlike atmosphere, camp value and a pretty decent soundtrack, this obscure rock n roll musical from 1984 is pretty watchable.
