Review of Streets of Blood (2009) by Justin S — 07 Mar 2010
A good soundtrack can make or break a movie. It's dated 2009 but the movie score is straight out of the 80's TV Movies. You can't cut corners on EVERYthing. I know there are alot of music libraries available and it's tempting to use them when being too stingy or greedy to hire someone to put together a legit movie score.
...but in the end it makes for a cheesy-ish movie that could have been 100x more official had you just opened your wallet and paid someone to do a decent movie score for this sort of thing. And you would think with 50 Cent involved the soundtrack would have been the LAST thing that was chinzy.
But that's Hollywood... Nice little movie tho. Not a box office smash or anything. The ending could have been mad more clearer tho. Maybe a Val Kilmer/Sharon Stone 'Basic Instinct' sex scene woulda been cool.
Dirty cops goin around plantin evidence and shootin feds in the head? Why not push the envelope all the way and make it TOTALLY sleazy and have Val Kilmer porkin her. Why ELSE would he be havin drinx wit her outside of work.
That kinda didn't make sense inless he was gonna be porkin her at some point in the movie. It's already rated R. Jussayin.
