Review of Street Kings (2008) by Paul B — 21 Mar 2009
While perfectly enjoyable, this actually seems a lazy piece of writing by Ayer of Training Day fame. A stellar cast is largely wasted and a large amount of screen time for the lead character is not well suited to Reeves' acting skills.
A lack of empathy ultimately leaves you detached from an average Cops gone bad story.
