Review of Street Kings (2008) by Kei T — 16 Sep 2009
As usual, when the words Matrix aren't in the title, Keanu is a a royal mess as an actor. Whitaker is intense as always and adds a little to this film, but overall I wouldn't recommend this as a well acted movie.
The storyline is also sophomoric, with some random story arcs thrown in that just seem superfluous or amateurish. Plus, for it's short time limit, it feels to drag surprisingly often. I wouldn't pay any money to see this film, but at least I don't feel like the time was wasted watching it for free.
