Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Phil N — 29 Sep 2009
New adaptation of the popular Capcom game focusing on the character of Chun-Li (Kreuk), living on the streets in Bangkok pitting her wits (and fists) against an evil property developer who kidnapped her father when she was a young girl.
Interpol (well, Chris Klein, even more wooden than Keanu) is also on the case along with the Gangland Homicide team. Itâ??s got lots of flaws â?? terrible dialogue, the Thai criminals who all speak perfect English, and the over-reliance on wire fighting, but that said itâ??s still watchable if you switch your brain off first, in the same way that Dargonball Evolution was.
Pity poor old Michael Clarke Duncan who obviously just fancied a free trip to the Far East.
