Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Jaini S — 19 Dec 2009
A poorly put together movie that drives the Street Fighter legacy in the ground. The movie follows the quest of Street Fighter character Chun-Li,who is played by (Kristin Kreuk). The story follows Chun-Li's personal history and her journey for justice.
The movie wasn't that great, but critics say in there reviews that the 1994 film was better, come on, 1994 Street Fighter film wasn't that great either. I thought Kristin Kreuk and Robin Shou were great, but it had its share of weak performances (mainly Chris Klein) and poorly choreographed action scenes, as well as poor special effects.
The fact is that it bears no resemblance to the video game on which its based. Hopefully this is the last Street Fighter movie to be made, because both sucked. Thumbs down for me!!!!!
