Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Kyle J — 21 Apr 2010
This movie was an up and down roller-coaster. I tried my best to watch this movie without the story of the game in mind, but that was hard considering how much of a fan of the game I am. I was prepare to deal with the changes, but just so many things were just too many changes to tolerate.
The action scenes were fairly good. My main problem is with the story and character development. I could go on and on, but that is for a later time. Chris Klein as Charlie Nash had to be the worst of it.
I gotta give Krisin Kreuk her props though. She did do a good job as a Half-Chinese Chun-li. I guess she has a nack for the "innocent angel to miss bad ass" thing.
