Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by William L — 04 Mar 2013

This follows the life of Chung Li who's father was kidnapped when she was little by M. Bison. She is told to go to Thailand and find Gen who once was a criminal and knows about Bison. Bison also wants to knock buildings down and put a lot of people homeless so he can build his own empire.

This got a lot of bad reviews and I am stumped on why. I thought it had a a good story and yeah the acting wasn't perfect but it still was a fun and action packed movie. It had characters from the video game so that was a plus.

I did think though that at times Chris Klein was annoying and yes he does not act that good but I could not let one person ruin it for me because I was really enjoying it. Michael Clark Duncan was in this movie too.

So sad to hear about his passing. There was a lot of good action and the story was entertaining so I thought this movie was really good.
