Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Matt C — 20 May 2010

This film can be looked at in different ways. I tried to view the film with no expectations. I am familiar with the games and other film (in 1994), I grew up with them. As a "fan" of Street Fighters I was disappointed.

As fan of movies, not so disappointed. I thought the story was okay and the acting was decent. However, it could have been so much more. It seemed a little "cheesy" at times and the plot was slow starting.

I enjoyed the fight sequences. I would not recommend this film to any die hard Street Fighter fans but if you're up for a little martial arts action then this thing wouldn't be a total waste of time.
