Review of Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li (2009) by Victor R — 03 Nov 2009
Once again films based on video games get another slam. The cast is what ruined this film, but the story wasn't that impressive either. Kristin Kreuk doesn't do to bad of a job, but Chris Klein overacted, Neal McDonough had a horrible accent, and Michael Clarke Duncan should have just kept doing films with Tom Hanks. I also couldn't help but laugh when Lui Kang from 'Mortal Kombat', played by Robin Shou, showed up in the film.
I watched the unrated version and their wasn't any excessive violence and nudity in it, which at least would have made if more entertaining. Director Andrzej Bartkwiak totally dropped the ball!
