Hmmm. what do I say?
Throughout the movie the amateur-seeming camera angles and edits (people's heads missing, not cutting to the person talking) had me feel frustrated and distracted. ...but half way into the film I started to feel touched by vin diesels' bravery - that is :i felt like the dialogue meant something to him - and that in the movie was a message he was wanting to communicate to men.
Maybe I am totally wrong about that - and am jumping to conclusions because I had read that he had been a bouncer for a number of years - and could imagine women hitting on him...
Anyway - despite a few incongruities in the main characters' behaviour (eg. unforeto-seen sudden violence in front of the "classy" girlfriend) I found the movie kind of interesting...
