(SPOILERS) You shouldn't read this until you've seen the movie because it has SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I don't wish to ruin the film for you, so don't read it! IT WOULD BE YOUR FAULT NOT MINE BECAUSE I SAID "SPOILERS!".
Marketed as a revenge film, the revenge didn't come until the end. What the hell?
The rape made no sense and really had no context. I mean, it happens, but she never tells a single person (especially her husband), so therefore, the revenge on Hoffman's part is only because of the men breaking into the house and trying to get the tard. What the hell...?
The plot was good - workers building a garage are threatening the lives and home of Hoffman and his wife. Good. Poorly executed. From Peckinpah, I expected alot better... The Getaway was better.
