Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by Timm S — 29 Oct 2009
This was a strange film. The name comes from Taoist writings in the Tao Te Ching. It was disturbing on many levels, yet very triumphant. This was a work of art if for no other reason than it made me cringe and question.
It caused reactions in me that I'm still (24 hours later) trying to work out. That is a good movie.
