A thoroughly unenjoyable film. If Peckinpah was trying to say, "humans are just animals, savage and unfeeling," then he made his point. But his worldview clashes so completely with mine, that the film comes off as a senseless horror film.
As the credits began to role, I literally said out loud, "that was pointless.".
