Review of Straw Dogs (1971) by William B — 21 Jan 2010
"It's ok I don't know my way home either" one of the best ending lines i've ever heard, and what a film for it to come from, another early man-pushed-over-the-edge film turns out to be a huge eye opener.
Many people believe that what there doing is right, but in some cases such as this film there are definatly not. The things that the people in the village did were unforgivable and they derserved everything they got espsically Charlie.
Hoffman's character is the classic character building role, when everything in your life drops at one second, the real side of humanity appears and it's not pretty.
An instant classic for me and for many others as well.
5/5.
